More celebrity arrests planned as Grimsby woman abused by Jimmy Savile calls for open investigation into police
A NEW wave of 'high profile' arrests of celebrities is being planned by detectives investigating the Jimmy Savile scandal.
Nazir Afzal, a CPS chief crown prosecutor, told the London Evening Standard that the arrests were "scheduled for the next few weeks".

Jimmy Savile
The news follows calls from a Grimsby woman who claims she was a victim of Jimmy Savile for an open investigation to be launched into the way the case has been handled by police.
She spoke out yesterday after a damning inquiry revealed that Savile's decades of abuse could have been stopped nearly 50 years ago.

Potentially vital intelligence about his sex crimes was buried in 1964 – the year the first accusations were made about the presenter – because he was a celebrity.
The report linked him with young girls at a Surrey children's home but police failed to act on the information.
Two later allegations – from a woman who said Savile sexually assaulted her at Top of the Pops and an anonymous letter branding him a paedophile – were also buried in police files.
These were classified as 'sensitive' or marked 'restricted' by the Metropolitan Police and so weren't readily available to other forces and hindered the chances of Savile facing charges before his death in 2011.
Failure by police to 'join the dots' meant that the potential for further investigation and a prosecution of Savile was missed, Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary found in its report Mistakes were Made.
Forces across Britain come under fire for ignoring Savile's victims and in a shocking warning, HMIC said there was a 'distinct possibility' that police could fail to prevent a similar Savile scandal.
The Met launched Operation Yewtree into the allegations against Savile last October following an ITV documentary exposing him. Around 450 people came forward making specific claims, with 214 recorded as crimes – including 32 rapes
.But when HMIC asked the 43 police forces in England and Wales to scour their records just five allegations and two pieces of intelligence were recorded against the disgraced star during his lifetime.
The Grimsby woman, who was a patient at Broadmoor hospital during the 1970s, has previously told the Grimsby Telegraph that the disgraced presenter inappropriately touched her.
Wishing to remain anonymous, she said: "It was a different force back then, but they had the opportunity to stop him, so why did they never stop him?
"There needs to be an open investigation into the police as, I believe, there is still a lot more to come out. It's scary.
"All this action now is too little too late. Someone allowed him to do this. He was seen to be above the law."

“The media and the government are having an absolute field day with JS.
The Government and Media has consistently failed to deliver, the Pedo rape gangs, but instead diverted attention to concentrating instead on a dead person, JS.
I only hope the public will demand further action.
But who do you turn to get action ? 99.99% of MP's are scared to speak out as the immigrant in charge of the racial Equality board will make sure they lose their jobs, and can do this through the EU and our inept anti-English government.
At least Hopkins has finally spoken on the ethnic subject.
Time and time again it's a white girl being raped by immigrant men and denial has propagated the filth, growing into a thriving white, underage, raping slave business for the perverted immigrants to enjoy.
I would love to see justice for Charlene Downes and all the other victims of immigrant grooming gangs.
As it is, we are forced to accepte censorship by consecutive governments and courts have failed to convict the majority of these perpetrators.
Constant denial has been accepted that it never happened.
The doors have now been forced open for even more effective action. (I can hope can't I ?)
Labour MP Yasmin Qureshi who told the House that even discussing the issue was "playing into the hands" of the far right. (That's right gang rape and sex slavery of underage white girls never really happened did it ) HA !
Defending these immigrant rapists and claiming the fact that the victims of abuse were white was coincidental.
100% white raped by 100% immigrants ? Don't think so.
This creature Yasmin filth should be investigated and jailed for defending and protecting these Pedo's.
The immigrant predators have tried to blame the state institutions and the families of the victims instead of the real perpetrators.
Can you honestly imagine a 13 year old girl being drugged and persistently raped, up to 100 times by different, and repeated, filthy immigrant slime ?
If the above is racist then so be it, someone has to say it to stop these debauched filthy degenerates.
People are willing to complain, moan, swear and even blame their MP's but the fact is if these pedo immigrants weren't allowed into the UK it WOULDN'T BE HAPPENING would it ?
Two solutions,
Deport the lot when convicted and their whole families.
after serving their jail sentence.
Also put them in the general population and don't let the screws interfere with any punishments that are dished out by the inmates.
To me that is true justice.
So stop concentrating on JS, where his crime on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 4, the immigrant gang rapists must be at least a 9 where a 10 would end in loss of life.,
Be sure of this I am not condoning JS for what he did but that is what it is "DID" no punishment can be ditshed out to JS now.”

“I recall my old man saying in 1964 "There's something not right about him". OBE knighthood, why didn't someone speak out then so he could be sorted out alive.”
