Girl, 6, to donate hair to make wigs for cancer patients
THIS six-year-old will donate the hair from her first proper cut to children with cancer.
Maisie Harris has never had more than a slight trim and instead of letting her long locks go to waste, she will send about 10 inches to be made into a wig for poorly children.

The Humberston Church of England Primary School student has been raising funds for The Little Princess Trust, which makes the wigs, and will take to the chair for the first time on Saturday.
"I am excited about having my hair cut," said Maisie.

"I thought a lot about people with cancer and decided to donate my hair.
"When it grows back I will have it cut and donate it again.
"My friends and family are really proud of me. I want to get more people to do it with me next time.
"I also want to thank everyone for helping me raise money."
After hearing of Maisie's charitable endeavour, her family's local pub, The Grosvenor, in Humberston Road, Cleethorpes, have started a collection in her name.
Manageress Denise Roberts said: "I have only been at the pub since April but I have known Maisie since she was born.
"The family come into the pub regularly and when they mentioned what was being planned I wanted to help.
"We have started a collection behind the bar and so far we have raised about £60.
"I think it is really impressive that someone as young Maisie has thought about others and is going to do what she is.
"She really is a special little girl."
It costs about £150 to create a wig and Maisie has already raised more than £200.
