Hallam aiming to net double dream
NEW Waltham badminton player Nathaniel Hallam has a double aim as he looks ahead to 2013.
As well as continuing to make an impact at senior men's level, he will also try his hand at coaching.

The 17-year-old Grimsby Institute student will take a level one coaching course next month.
Until recently, Hallam has been concentrating on his education. He entered fewer competitions, but still attended local cells of the North East Lincolnshire Badminton Development Group, run by Derrick Haughton and Matthew Atmore.

However, in the summer, he decided to resume competition – with great success.
He played his first men's adult singles tournament in the Birmingham Bonanza at the National Indoor Arena.
He won the competition – which featured more than 100 competitors. At 16, he was the youngest player involved.
