He has built a reputation as a consistently great act with his cheeky style, delivering light-hearted gags and stories you can't help relating to.
Dave now proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet, a new tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present.
Opening the gags will be an ex-welder from Dudley, Sean Percival, whose act is steeped in the traditions of working men's clubs, but bang up-to-date with up-front attitude.
Sean is a festival favourite at the Edinburgh, Glastonbury and Reading festivals, and as a well-established headliner, he performs at all major comedy clubs around the UK.
Headline comedian is Time Out comedy award winner and Perrier Award nominee Simon Bligh.
He has been a comedian for more than 20 years and has worked all over the world. Most recently, he has featured in the Channel 4 programme Alan Davis Teenage Revolution.
He has hosted three series of 4 At The Store for BBC Radio Four and recently performed in Kabul, Kandahar and Camp Bastion for the UK military.
