Heed tie in doubt?
THE Mariners' trip to Gateshead tomorrow night (7.45pm) could be in doubt after the North East club admitted there are problems with the pitch.
The Heed's clash with Nuneaton Town on Saturday had to be postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, casting doubts over tomorrow's visit of the Mariners.
In a statement on the club's official website, chairman Graham Wood, said: "We have a problem with the pitch that all parties are working hard to rectify.
"It is a difficult time for everyone but every effort is being made to rectify the situation."
