Helen is tipped for top ITV breakfast TV role
POPULAR Grimsby TV presenter Helen Fospero is being tipped to become the new golden girl of GMTV.
There is speculation that Helen, who has strong family links with Grimsby, could soon be teamed up with Adrian Chiles on the sofa of the breakfast TV programme.
Helen, already a newsreader and presenter at GMTV, is being tipped for what is one of the highest-profile presenting jobs on breakfast television.
The speculation follows the announcement on Monday that Mr Chiles would be leaving the BBC to join GMTV and to present football on ITV.

He is best known for presenting BBC 1's The One Show, as well as The Apprentice: You're Fired and Match Of The Day 2.
A national newspaper claims Helen is being "secretly tested" for a new presenting role with Mr Chiles at GMTV, in an attempt to revamp the show's fortunes.
The paper quotes an ITV insider as saying: "ITV boss Peter Fincham and daytime chief Alison Sharman are very keen on her. She could be the perfect foil for Adrian and has the journalistic background that would readily help her deal with politicians and celebrities alike."
GMTV presenter Ben Shephard announced on Wednesday that he would be leaving the programme.
Helen, a former Hereford Comprehensive School pupil and the daughter of ex-Grimsby Telegraph assistant editor John Morton, worked as showbusiness reporter and USA correspondent previously at GMTV.
She began her career, then Helen Morton, as a trainee reporter at the now-defunct weekly paper the Louth Standard in the 1980s.
