Helping youngsters get into work
JOB prospects of some of North East Lincolnshire's unemployed youngsters have been given a boost thanks to a successful new project.
The Asgard project – which stands for advice, support, guidance, advocacy, referral and direction – gets vulnerable young people with no qualifications into work with North East Lincolnshire Care Trust Plus (CTP).

They are employed on a one year contract and receive an apprenticeship into health and social care employment.
The project is in its second year, having seen the number of those taking part rise from four at the start to 17 by the end of year one.
Project leader Annie Darby is determined that the second year will be as successful as the first.
She said: "We started off with four placements and because it worked so well that increased to six within the first three months.
"Now, because other health providers have seen how it works, we have got 17 placements."
