A BOLLYWOOD night in Cleethorpes aims to raise thousands of pounds for the Big Red Heart Appeal.

Staff on the coronary care unit at Grimsby's Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, will be part of the entertainment in a Bollywood Evening With Raj.

There will be a variety of Bollywood dances, a traditional Indian skit and a fashion show, as well as a four-course meal.

Along with his wife Susi, corr Raj Gaikwad is the organiser of the event which takes place at Cleethorpes Memorial Hall on Saturday October 2, from 6pm.

He said: "We are hoping to get around 350 people supporting us at this event and we believe we could raise between £3,000 and £5,000."

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £10 for children under 12.
