St Andrew's Hospice issues Christmas card of future - by royal command
ST ANDREW'S hospice will be wishing you a Merry Christmas with the help of Santa Claus, James Morrison, and the Queen.
Most of us will expect to hear the first mention of Christmas around September time so here it is – and it's a first for St Andrew's, too.

The local hospice is moving with the times and this year releases its first-ever e-card with staff and fundraisers singing a special song, edited by a former producer of Britain's Got Talent and sponsored by the Grimsby Telegraph.
Within 10 days, they are releasing the trailer to the e-card with a sound byte from soulful singer James Morrison and a recreation of the Olympic opening ceremony sketch with James Bond and the Queen – including the actual corgis from the ceremony.

Producer and director of East Coast Pictures, Julia Thompson, said: "I brought dancing dogs to Simon Cowell and now we are bringing something truly unique and different to the people of North East Lincolnshire."
The e-card, which will be available for people to send online to family and friends with a Christmas greeting, is part of the hospice's attempts to come up with new ideas to find the £3-million a year needed to keep providing end of life care.
Fundraiser Debbie Lyons said: "We are living in tough times and it is increasingly difficult to raise the funds we need to continue to care for people, so we try to be creative and use a constant stream of new ideas.
"Christmas cards aren't as popular as they used to be but we are really excited about this new idea. Anyone who gets the e-card is going to love it and it's a first for the hospice."
Yvonne Wright, who worked as a fundraiser for 30 years and is now a volunteer, plays the Queen in the video – but James Bond, as seen in the ceremony, is replaced by Santa Claus.
Yvonne said: "I just hope that the people who get the card have as much fun with it as I did making the trailer.
"Obviously I was a little disappointed when I arrived to find out that Daniel Craig wasn't there but it was still fun to play the queen.
"However, if it benefits the hospice then I am happy and I think that this will be a really big fundraiser.
"I'm already trying to think of people that I can send it to."
The trailer will be available online within 10 days and the actual card will be available from the end of October, for a minimum £20 donation.
"We are hoping that people donate more because when they see it, we know that people will just love it," added Debbie Lyons.
