Humberston Fitties residents knew the rules
RE disgusted Telegraph Reader (March 2) Fitties chalets.
I agree it seems a bit puzzling that two or three people have to move off the site for four months and all the rest for only two, but it sounds as though this is going to be addressed soon.

HOMES BY THE SEA: Fitties is not an all-year-round housing solution.
As for the rest of the letter, as has been pointed out many times on this issue, residents knew there was a closed season when they bought their properties.
And everyone has to pay council tax – having rights doesn’t mean you can do wrong.

The Fitties is an entirely different set-up. It is a holiday chalet park and was never intended for year round occupation.
The fact that some people gave up their first home and moved on with the intention of trying to stay all year is hardly the council’s fault.
I also fail to see what the freezing cold weather has to do with anything.
Are they all camping out on the sand dunes?

“How long can this saga of lease misuse go on. The amount of publicity this winter showing occupancy occurs for 52 weeks seems to have passed the council by.
I suppose when incompetence is the tool used for enforcement, the FORAB will continue to dictate their terms to the council LOL.
Obviously we can look forward to the council looking foolish again next winter, what a farce!
