Humberston golfer Sophie Walker swings back into form
HUMBERSTON golf pro Sophie Walker kick-started her 2013 Ladies European Tour campaign with an impressive display at the World Ladies Championship in China.
The 28-year-old finished two-under for the tournament at the Mission Hills Haikou in tropical Hainan, to claim a cheque for more than 5,000 euros.

And after missing the cut in her first two events of the season – the Volvik RACV Ladies Masters and the ISPS Handa New Zealand Women’s Open – it signalled a welcome return to form for Walker.
An opening round 67 was the highlight for the Forest Pines golfer who added scores of 75, 70 and 74 to finish 16 shots behind the leader.
