And after missing the cut in her first two events of the season – the Volvik RACV Ladies Masters and the ISPS Handa New Zealand Women’s Open – it signalled a welcome return to form for Walker.

An opening round 67 was the highlight for the Forest Pines golfer who added scores of 75, 70 and 74 to finish 16 shots behind the leader.

The Tour, and Walker, head back towards Europe next for the Lalla Meryem Cup, beginning on Thursday, March 28.

Cleethorpes rookie Holly Clyburn is set to make her LET debut in the same event, in Agadir, Morocco, after turning professional last year.
