THE Ibwest Cup final, the knockout showpiece of the John Pettit Grimsby and District Cricket League, has been put back a week to Monday, August 9.

It will take place at Chichester Road, the home of Cleethorpes Cricket Club.

The switch means spectators will not now have a decision to make whether to attend the Ibwest final or the Grimsby Town/ Grimsby Institute Knock Out final, which takes place at Augusta Street between Fenner and Messingham tonight, weather permitting.
