This is Grimsby

I AM looking for info on a once famous Grimsby family, the Grants.

My mother is a Grant. She's the daughter of Frank Grant (b: 1882 d: 1936) and Florence Grant (maiden name b: 1885 d: 1958).

My mother was the youngest of  four  sisters and was born (1928) in Montague Street,  but in 1932 they moved to 366 Grimsby Road. The daughters also ran shops over the road from this house (the Mount).

I beieve that Frank Quacker Grant was a well known trawler owner,   the Wheelsby, Claire  and  Sidney Frank - who served in the Navy's trawler section in WW1. He was also part owner of Cosalt.

A relative was Lord Mayor up there back in time.

I'm told that it was announced in the Grimsby paper in the late 90s that the last of the  Grants had died BUT this was wrong as my mother still survives (in Doncaster where the family moved to just after 1936).

Any help much appreciated, thanks.
