A MOTORCYCLIST was flown to hospital after a crash on the A158 near Horncastle.

The 30-year-old local man is believed to have suffered chest injuries in the incident, which  occurred at about 1pm on Wednesday, at the junction of Winceby Gardens, Horncastle, with the A158.

The collision involved a white Volvo truck and a blue Honda motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle was taken to Lincoln County Hospital by air ambulance.
