Video: Inquiry underway after fire drama at Young's seafood factory in Grimsby
INVESTIGATIONS were continuing today into what caused a fire at Grimsby's Young's seafood factory.
The blaze started in a fryer at the Humberstone Road site just before 11.30am yesterday.

About 40 firefighters were involved in tackling it, and were on site for four hours, although the blaze was out by about 1.30pm.
Shocked staff – who were all evacuated and accounted for – were overheard saying they had never seen anything like it at the site before.

It is thought the fryers are each capable of holding 200 litres of oil.
The fire spread through the factory's extracting system, stretching across 150m of the building's roof, leaving a hole.
Mark Toplass, group manager for Humberside Fire and Rescue, said: "We had appliances from Hull in attendance.
"There is damage to the building but it's not extensive, due to the size of the factory.
"The fire tore through the rear roof leaving a hole there.
"We remained on scene for a few hours after the fire was out as there was still smoke in the building and we needed to do a thorough search of the roof using a thermal image camera.
"The company followed the correct evacuation system to minimise any potential casualties.
"Investigations will now continue to find the source of the fire."
A spokesman for Young's Seafood Limited, said: "We took all precautionary action to protect the health and safety of our employees.
"Everyone from the site was evacuated and accounted for and we want to reassure people that nobody was hurt.
"We are now conducting a full inquiry into why this incident occurred."
A Colin Avenue resident said she could see fire engines outside the factory and could smell smoke.
She described it as grey smoke, rather than black, and said the air was "hazy".
Brenda Riley, of Acklam Grove, said: "I thought I could smell burning, and then all the smoke came over.
"I could hear a lot of people talking, but I wasn't worried – it is nothing compared to the Birds Eye fire."
Another resident, who did not wish to be named, added: "I could see lots of smoke and then I heard the fire engines driving past."
