THIS young entrepreneur is moving on from silver service to launching her own jewellery range.

Celia Rose Popplewell, 23, has worked at JK's, in Sea View Street, since August, when she finished her degree in jewellery at Buckinghamshire New University.

She was hooked on making jewellery since she did a taster module during her art foundation course at Grimsby Institute when she was 18.

And from today, as well as working at the Cleethorpes store – which belongs to her aunt Davinia Lacey – Celia will be using it to sell her range of unique accessories, called Ceila Rose Co.

She said: "I have been talking to customers about jewellery for months now and I think I now have a good idea what they like.

"Sea View Street has a lot of shops which sell independent products such as mine, and JK's is a great store, so it is the perfect place to launch it."

The first collection is made up of rings, bangles and pendants, which can be worn alone or in sets.

As well as launching the jewellery line, Celia has also launched her own website, www.celiarose.co which also has links to a Facebook and Twitter site. Today, JK's is offering 15 per cent off every item in the range to mark the launch.
