Jubb is the top man in HCA's third winter match
GLEN Jubb showed his vast experience to net both the top weight and biggest fish at Humber Cruising Association's third winter league match.
He weighed in an impressive 57.12lb which this included the heaviest cod of the day at a gutted weight of 12.9lb.

Matty Booth wasn't far behind in second, with Bob Mogg third.
Some of the anglers did fail to catch, but a good number of cod was caught. They seem to be in certain areas at the moment.
With the Cod Open next Sunday it will be very interesting to see how many fish are caught on the day.
There is still time to get your tickets, they are available from club secretary Chris Banks.
The HCA are also going to run a boat handling skills course.
This is an excellent idea and, as usual, the club are thinking along the safety lines.
The course will involve a couple of nights in the bar going through the flip charts of buoy recognition, and rules of the sea.
The examiner will come to the marina to take you for the actual tests, at a date to be confirmed.
The test for the ICC involves boat handling, and parking, as well as the classroom stuff.
The test for the VHF course involves learning the phonetic alphabet and calling a 'Mayday' or 'Pan Pan' – this exam might be on another day and involve a different examiner.
I think this is an excellent idea, and if you are interested please get in touch with Tony Hogg so he can get things organised.
On to the shore scene, I am pleased to say that Humber SAC managed to get their match on this weekend.
Nine anglers turned out for the match on Saturday at 'the Shallows'.
Fishing from peg 50 on the wall, to 74, the tide pull was fine with no problems at all, just a little weed on the ebb.
Flounders saved the day, as they so often do, with only one round fish being caught (the Smelt).
Simon Drayton was first with eight fish for 3lb 15.25oz with Steve Macgregor second with five fish for 2lb 15oz.
Drayton's 33cm flounder was the biggest flat while Ady Cooper hooked the biggest round with a 20cm smelt and also had the lucky peg.
Tomorrow's match is a 'Rover on the Wall' fishing from 1.30pm-6.30pm.
Meet at mid-level drain from 12.45pm, size limits apply.
Brian Tuck in now running the Cleethorpes Promenade open matches in mid-week.
Carl Roffee was top angler on the day with eight fish for 144cm.
Next in was master angler Jeff Volley, and it was nice to see him back in action after a spell of ill-health.
He grabbed four fish for 84cm, and third was match organiser Brian Tuck with four fish for 78cm.
It fished very hard with temperatures going down to as low as -7. While Tuck was fishing, his tin of cola froze!
All anglers are welcome to their next match a week tomorrow.
