Jumbo arrival as circus comes to town - View on Video
The Great British Circus will soon be heading into town and is currently at the Manby showground, near Louth.
This year the controversial circus, the last of its kind to use exotic animals, sees the arrival of three performing elephants alongside the camels, tigers and horses in the Big Top.

“Well said, all decent people out there. Spectators of this revolting exhibition should try some time in a cage, well fed, and exercised, of course, before performing daily for the delectation of an audience of animals”

“I won't be going anywhere near this awful display of animal exploitation. It's an archaic form of so called 'entertainment' that should be banned immediately. The animals should be re-homed in a safari type sanctuary to live out the rest of their days in peace. This is absolutely disgusting in this day & age that this type of 'business' is allowed to carry on. SHAME ON YOU great british circus!!”

“How does the RSPCA's 5 Freedom policy fit into this, It is disgraceful that wild animals are performing for money, I would never take my son to a circus which had animals, how can our council be so small minded to let this go ahead, hopefully there will be protesters there to inform people of this cruel act!! I agree with pet lover this should be banned!!!!!”

“I won¿t be taking my children to see animals perform for money. I would much rather take them to see these animals in there natural habitat, hope more people feel the way I do then this controversial circus will disappear for ever.. Hopefully.”
