DON'T forget – it's up to you to decide who should get the honour of switching on the Christmas lights this year.

As reported, five deserving candidates have been nominated by our readers and the one with the most public votes will be flicking the switch on November 22.

To vote, simply text GT followed by HERO, the four digit voting code of the person you wish to vote for, with your name and postcode to 65100 (Example: GT HERO 1001 Nicky Jones DN31 3EH) by tomorrow at 5pm.
