Resort fly-past caught on camera - view photos here
A KEEN photographer was left amazed when a Lancaster Bomber flew over her head on Cleethorpes seafront.
Carole Crawford, of Caenby Road in the resort, was driving along Alexandra Road but jumped out to take these stunning snaps when the awesome aircraft passed overhead.

Photography has always been a hobby for Carole and as soon as she saw the Lancaster she knew what to do.

“Carole's pictures are the same as mine, Ben. But I seem to recall someone with knowledge replying last time that the aeroplanes have different lettering on each side, depending on this side you photographed. Maybe this is the case this time.”

“I also caputured a photo of the Lancaster that flew over Cleethorpes.
I looked at my pictures, and the aircraft registration is different.
Yours is HWR, mine says BOB.

“when i heard these babies comming i rushed outside and wow, what a view if only i could be in them as they flew over, i love the classic planes and i'd love to go see them all.
It is nice to see classic planes come over cleethorpes on a hot sunny day, i was doing my friends garden when they came over so it was a added bonus for the day, the whole street came out.
So all i can say is keep up the good work with the paper and letting us know what is happing in and around cleethorpes”
