Grimsby Town faltered in their push for the top six when they were held to a goalless draw with bottom side Kidderminster.

Frankie Artus could have given the visitors an early lead but his header from six yards cleared the bar, while Craig Disley's speculative effort also went close.

It was then Kidderminster's turn to go close as both Mickey Demetriou and Keith Briggs threatened the deadlock but the sides went into half-time level.

The Mariners resumed their search for an opener after the restart through the efforts of Greg Pearson, who sent a shot just wide of the post.

Joe Colbeck then saw his attempt blocked while en route to goal.

Ryan Rowe could have stolen all three points for Kidderminster when he fired a 30-yard shot goalwards late on but James McKeown ensured the match finished all square.
