PRESIDENT, Stephanie  Smith, welcomed Sylvia Ravenshall, WI Advisor to the Legbourne and Little Cawthorpe WI AGM meeting, and congratulated Barbara Boobyer on winning the County News competition.

Trophies and garden tokens were presented to  overall winners for the year of the Competition and the Flower of the Month. The silver cup for the competition went  to Brenda Wringe and runners up were Pam Subden and Edith Jones.

The Ruby Finch rosebowl for Flower of the Month went to Val Gothard and runners up  Pam Subden and Pauline Wood.

Jennifer Smith spoke on her trip to the Festival of Light at Leicester and Brenda Wringe presented some brain-teaser games.

The retiring president, Stephanie Smith, was presented with a book by her successor, Edith Jones, as a thank you from all the members for her years in office.
