“Does ITC own Coomb Briggs Meadows ?....if they do (i am sure they would have mentioned it) ..then well done.
If they dont, are they responsible for its upkeep, and if so, ...why?”

“George, Immingham:
George, it isn't the people who have run down Immingham! How many millions of pounds have been wasted by the ITC.....yes flowers and trees are an improvement.......but a half decent council would have giant banners up proclaiming the damage caused to the environment by ABP......the council has allowed the town to decay period.
Cllr Swinburn always declares an interest when coal is discussed........what a farce, the town is blighted by coal dust and the council plants flowers.......a real quality council led by impotent powerless councillors burying their heads in the dust over ABP polluting the town.
I cringed when ABP and the council allowed children to plant trees on the mud bund on Manby road........an absolute obscenity that the organisation that is producing respiratory dusts to harm the health of innocent children, has the gall to insult the town further.
Swinburn you should declare an interest in protecting Imminham residents against pollution........not your own job and ABP.
The hard truth is the head line should read: Immingham in GLOOM!”

“Why do people always run this town down. This is a positive story and if you had attended the launch at the civic centre building last Saturday, which was full and standing, you would have found out that 400 trees were planted after the launch on Coomb Briggs Meadows. Get with the program Bob we have had enough negativity”

“Hopefully we will have an official flower shaker employed so that when the Britain In Bloom adjudicator visits, there will be no coal dust covering them.
Regarding the hundreds of trees....can somebody tell me where they are because I cant find them.
The only ones I know of, is the ones just added to the golf course...but thats not public land, its privately owned.
The other is along Manby road dual carriageway, you know, the coal dust bundy thing stopper....surely not!”
