Linde returns to Augusta Street
THE second match in the Grimsby Town CC Knock-out sees the hosts and current trophy holders begin their defence of their title on Monday with a match against Lincoln side Nettleham.
And in a special guest appearance, a 2011 knock out favourite is set to bring his unique brand of spin to Augusta Street.
George Linde, one of last year's top wicket takers in the ECB Premier League, will join a strong Grimsby Town side that includes recognised batsmen Richard Antcliffe, Jim Morgan, Harry Warwick and skipper Neal Snell.
Linde's fellow South African Johannes Diseko, this year's overseas player for Grimsby, also gets his first taste of Knock-out cricket in a bowling line up featuring Gary Tillison, Carl Taylor and Lee Charlton.
