THE Louth and District Gardening Society had an interesting talk by Mr Firth of KRN Houseplants of Fotherby.

His talk was on Pot Plants and aftercare.

He told members how to keep Poinsettias to flower again for next Christmas and many other tricks of the trade.

A quiz was also held, won by Mrs Lonsdale who received an Azalea for the best score.

The next meeting will by on Thursday, March 11 at the Conoco Room, Louth Library at 7.30pm.

Mr C Ward of Swineshead will talk on Shade and Semi Shade.
