DANCE fans have stepped forward to show they are all heart for an appeal helping local people with cardiac disease.

Dancers who meet each week at M and M's sequence dance clubs are holding a charity lunch and afternoon dance on February 14 to raise money for the Grimsby Telegraph-backed Big Red Heart Appeal.

As reported, Ron Kitching, the chairman of the Grimsby and District Health Care charity and staff at Grimsby's Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, want to raise about £2-million to help local people affected by heart conditions.

The money will be used to purchase new cardiology equipment and build a specialist lab.

Already, kind-hearted fundraisers have sent money in – despite the appeal not being officially launched yet.

M and M's is the latest group to get on board with the event – at the Memorial Hall, in Cleethorpes, on Valentine's Day – where all proceeds from a raffle will be donated to the cause.
