A NEW £54,000 extension and snooker room has been officially opened at Laceby's Royal British Legion.

Cleethorpes and Immingham MP Shona McIssac cut the ribbon at Bainbridge Hall, on Austin Garth, as special guest.

The development has seen the previous snooker room totally refurbished into a quiet room for group activities, with the club's snooker table repositioned in the new extension.

The renovation has also included a new entrance with a ramp for easy access and the creation of a special area for a book of remembrance and war memorabilia.
