Make England shirts a must

CONCERNING the edict by the council over taxi drivers not being able to wear the English flag and Cross of St George, in my opinion this is just another attempt to knock out any inclinations of patriotism or nationalism from the public at large to shoe horn us into the blessed European Union.

The Common Purpose Bureaucrats who do this are traitors to the cause of those who gave their all in two world wars for our freedom and democratic system... and don't you dare try to say the EU has prevented any further wars because that's absolute "tosh".

The only political parties who are singing from a patriotism hymn sheet is both UKIP and the BNP and to vote for any of the Lib-Lab-Con lot will certainly consign us to be lost in history.

You couldn't slip a fag paper between the European policies of any of the Lib-Lab-Con.

There is a wild elephant in the room and all the previously major three parties are in denial, even the Conservatives just had their spring conference in the face of a General Election and their "Blair clone" Cameron never even gave the Europe dilemma a mention.

There is no doubt in my mind that to stop the outflow of our desperately needed cash to the European fantasy would relieve our industries and the public of pathetic regulation and put us on track to solving our budget deficit within four years without massive cuts of expenditure in all departments. Just get patriotic, send these waste of space politicians and councillors into oblivion and engage with real alternatives who will provide the swell of nationalism so desperately needed to awaken our population into serious effort, as would have been advocated by Winston Churchill.

The question of England shirts for taxi drivers is that they should be made compulsory along with all public service drivers of all denominations and the shirts should be paid for out of council tax coffers.

Robert C Harrison, Wold View, Caistor.

The Telegraph says

Surely the issue of the football shirts should be treated separately from the far more indepth issue of Britain's continued inclusion in the European Union.

“Well Josey, thingy, whatever you are called this week, I seem to have hit a nerve. Keep biting and I'll keep posting. as you are so quick to point out to us, this is an open forum, and if you do not like the comments posted, you don't HAVE to leave a response do you. As I said earlier, keep snapping little fishy, keep snapping :-) :-) :-)

Your "go to hell" comment was a little harsh, but knowing from whence it came, not at all surprising.”

    “Hahahaha

What are you trying to do???

I already told you .. I really don't give a damn WHAT you think about me personally.

Go and insult someone who cares.

*Unless* , that is, you want to exchange opinions on the subjects being discussed here?

If so .. then stop behaving like a 10 year-old and please begin.

    Strewth ..”

“Could you please enlighten me, just who did you include in your comment - "Trouble with all you lot, is that you have absolutely no sense of irony."

You also said that Neil is rarely rude to you, maybe you ought to take a leaf out of his book, and yes I do agree, he is rarely rude, he has a sense of humour, and most definitely he does not believe that this forum is his and his alone. He does not believe that he is in charge, nor does he believe he can brow-beat anyone at anytime for not having the same opinion as himself. he most definitely does not shout at, or bark questions out to people. Now some other forum users are not as considerate. More is the pity.”

“Josey whatever her name is said "Tell you what though .. I won't post anything else on this thread until you've had a turn, okay? The world awaits your words of wisdom with bated breath The floor is all yours ............." This was at 10:15 on 15th March 2010.

You seem to be unable to keep your word, and YOU used "all you lot". Such a condescending attitude in one so young and popular. Reminds me a little of Mrs Bucket (pronounced bouquet of course) :-)

Thingy-me-bob, Josephine whatever said -"Just watching" (though-doing- quite-a-lot-of-writing-too) .. you don't know me at all, and frankly I dont care an iota what you think of me." From the amount of space taken up by you in your last post you obviously do care. Bless your heart. As I suggested earlier, do please come down from your pedestal, "all you lot" is a nice place to be.”
