Making a dash
ENTRIES are now open for this year's Deepdale Dash event.
The 10K road race, organised by Barton and District Athletics Club, will take place on Sunday, November 4, starting at 11am.
Fun runs of 1k and 2k will also be held on the day, following a course around Baysgarth School field and starting at 10am.
The athletics club has been established for around 40 years and has recently seen a resurgence in membership numbers.

It has a junior section for athletes aged six and above, as well as a road running section and a new beginners' running group.
