“The usual MO is ask if you have a spare ciggy. Then have you got the time. It's a ploy to see what you have in your pockets and if you have a mobile worth nicking. They are approaches I have received. Generally I am aware of my surroundings and if I have any reservations would cross the road to avoid.”

“It is no longer safe to walk the streets of Grimsby & Cleethorpes alone at night, even if your'e male, we visit Bulgaria quite a lot, never had any trouble there, you feel much safer out at night

In the whole of 2009 I had just 1 night out in Grimsby with my son in law, it was Christmas, within 2 hours I was in A & E getting stitched up, a group of thugs just attacked with no warning, I now save all of my nights out for Bulgaria, & it's only 50p a pint.”
