Man assaulted outside nightclub on Pasture Street in Grimsby
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an assault which happened on Pasture Street in Grimsby at around 3.30am on Wednesday, October 3.
A 19-year-old man was leaving a local nightclub with a friend when they noticed a woman who they knew on the opposite side of the road.

They both approached her and, as they did, a man, who was known to the woman, came over and appeared to become verbally abusive towards the 19-year-old.
The man then assaulted the 19-year-old causing him to fall to the floor and bang his head. He attended hospital but no further treatment was required.

“Hang on a minute,the man was known to the woman,dont tell me she hasnt named him? Surely if its known she knew him,she must have named him,and as she must have been a witness along with the other guy then surely an arrest is imminent ? ? Or have i missed something ?”
