Man caught trying to steal sand paper in bungled shoplifting attempt in Grimsby
SHOPLIFTER Josse Jackson was collared after trying to make a run for it after a bungled thieving mission, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard.
Jackson, 21, of Henry Street, Grimsby, admitted stealing sand paper, valued at £7.98, from B&Q on January 23.
Michael Culshaw, mitigating, said Jackson had a poor record for dishonesty and had served a custodial sentence last year.
He claimed he “wasn’t thinking straight” at the time of the theft.
