INQUIRIES are continuing into the disappearance of a man in Cleethorpes.

For nearly a month Andrew Moody, 49, of Scunthorpe has not been seen or heard from since his family reported him missing.

As reported, his car was found abandoned at The Boating Lake car park in Cleethorpes.

Inspector Stuart Middlecoate said the man, who worked for a Scunthorpe accountancy firm, was still missing.

He said examination of his mobile phone records and bank account transactions had provided no clues to his whereabouts.

Posters asking for help from the public to locate Mr Moody have been put up around Cleethorpes.

His silver-grey Aero Saab was found abandoned in the resort.

He is described as being white, 5ft 8in tall with a broad build and short dark brown hair and wearing spectacles.

Any sightings can be reported to Humberside Police on 101, quoting log 180 of January 26.
