Man sent to jail for racist assault in Cleethorpes
A MIXED-RACE man was viciously attacked in the street after two violent bullies hurled “nasty” racist abuse with “true hate in their voices”.
Matthew Osborne, 28, of St Michael’s Road, Grimsby, admitted a racially aggravated assault on Adam Swayib on October 7.
Gordon Stables, prosecuting, told Grimsby Crown Court that British-born Mr Swayib was half Arabic and half British.
He was “quite tipsy” in High Street, Cleethorpes, when he was approached by two men who “wanted trouble”.

They followed him and shouted “vicious” racial abuse. He felt a blow to his head and was punched, causing bleeding from his nose and ear. He was on his hands and knees but got up, only to be attacked again.
Adam Pearson, mitigating, said Osborne admitted his behaviour was “appalling” but did not consider himself to be racist.
Judge David Tremberg said: “There is no place in a civilised society for such behaviour and, at the moment, there is no place for you.”
Unemployed Osborne was jailed for six months.

“Judge Tremberg gives a paedophile rapist a community order.
Judge Tremberg jails a man for 6 months for a vicious assault.
Judge Tremberg jails a man for 4 years for typing on a keyboard.
Now tell me is it the justice system or does Judge Tremberg simply have no clue about sentencing?”
