THIS maternal moggy found the bathroom of an unsuspecting cat lover the purrfect place to have kittens – all five of them.

Bandit, Socks, Angel, Diesel and Lucky – Kitty the street wise stray's new kittens – were born underneath the floorboards at friend to all felines, Aimee Gadsby's house four weeks ago.

The 31-year-old mother-of-two was getting ready to go to bed when the mischievous moggy snuck into her Torrington Street home at midnight and curled up under the bathroom floorboards.

Aimee said: "They are all so different. Bandit is full of attitude, Diesel keeps himself to himself, Socks does exactly what the others do, Lucky is really laid back and Angel is really fussy.

"They are so much fun and, if I had my way, I would keep them all – but my boyfriend would disown me!"

Kitty isn't the first stray cat to seek solace at Aimee's.

When she moved from Mablethorpe to Grimsby in 2009 she arrived at her new house to find a stray cat she had been feeding curled up on the back seat.

Needless to say, Jake is still firmly part of the family.

Aimee added: "I don't know why they pick me. I find it really funny.

"The first time I gain a cat because he hides in the car and the next time a pregnant cat appears and gives birth in my bathroom!

"I would put a sign up and say 'stray cats report here,' but I think that is just asking for trouble!"

Can you help?

If you can offer these back street kittens a loving home, contact Aimee on 07910 855081.
