TV personality Matt Baker favourite to take Strictly Come Dancing crown
TV PERSONALITY Matt Baker is now the favourite to take the Strictly Come Dancing crown.
Following Friday night's performance, online bookmakers William Hill are offering odds of 4/1 on him winning the hit BBC One show, overtaking Kara Tointon who is now 9/2.
As reported, Matt's career blossomed right here in sunny Cleethorpes when he danced in Disco Inferno at Pier 39.
Gavin Smith – aka Richard Itchin – who helps run Disco Inferno, said: "We made him Butch Vendor The Bar Tender and he danced at the Pier on Wednesday nights. He even met his partner there."
Those least likely to dance to victory are former England goalie Peter Shilton, controversial politician Ann Widdecombe and pint-sized magician Paul Daniels who all share odds of 66/1.
The next show is on BBC 1 at 5.45pm on Saturday.
