Men in court on murder charge
TWO men appeared in court today charged with the murder of a 62-year-old Grimsby grandfather.
Daniel Webster, 52, of Heneage Road, Grimsby, and Mark Bratton, 24, of Chester Walk, Grimsby, are accused of murdering David Bentley on July 17.
They appeared in custody before Hull Crown Court under a fast-track system for serious cases.
They are due to appear there for a plea and case management hearing on October 23.
A provisional trial date has been set for February 23.
As reported, Mr Bentley was found dead in a flat on Heneage Road.
