Employee's 25 years of stellar service at Grimsby store is celebrated
LONG-serving employee Michelle Thomas was treated to a special party to celebrate her 25 years at a Grimsby superstore.
Michelle, of Miller Avenue, Grimsby, joined the team at Wilkinson, in Freeman Street, back in 1988.

GREAT AT HER JOB: Long serving team member Michelle Thomas is celebrating 25 years of loyal service at the Wilkinson store in Freeman Street, Grimsby.
Having clocked up a quarter of a century of service, bosses at the store held a celebratory buffet in her honour.
Michelle, who works as a customer service assistant, was also presented with a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of champagne and a £250 cheque as a thank you for her dedication over the years.

She said: "I'm overwhelmed by the gesture.
"I can't believe how quickly time has flown since joining the company and that's the result of working with a great team full of different personalities.
"The store has changed and grown dramatically since I started and I feel privileged to have met so many good people over the past 25 years."

A family-owned firm, Wilkinson opened its first store in Leicester, in 1930 and currently has 372 stores across the UK, including branches in Freeman Street, the Bull Ring, Grimsby, and St Peter's Avenue, Cleethorpes.
