Get In The Mood for some Glenn Miller music ...
THE legendary Glenn Miller was one of the most brilliant bandleaders and songwriters of all time – and his music lives on long after his tragic and mysterious death during the Second World War.
The Grimsby Central Hall Trust is proud to announce that the John Miller Orchestra, formerly the Herb Miller Orchestra, the only big band performing the great man's music, will be on stage at the Central Hall on Saturday, February 18.

GOLDEN AGE: The fully restored Sir Berkeley starred in the 1968 film The Railway Children.
There are direct family links to Glenn ... because John Miller is his nephew.
He took over the orchestra after Herb died in l987 and his unique brand of Yankee showmanship, humour and personality have given it a reputation of "a good time for all".
The band is said to have the uncanny ability to reach a crowd, whether in the small confines of a smoky bar or the vast expanse of Hyde Park with an audience of thousands.
John is joined on stage by vocalist Fiona Paige who is at the centre of the great Modernaires numbers like Chattanooga Choo Choo and I've Got A Gal In Kalamazoo.
Tickets cost £18 in the circle and £12 in the stalls and are now on sale from the Caxton Box Office within Grimsby Central Library.
