​A 43-YEAR-OLD Grimsby man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman in Driffield.

Police were called after a 40-year-old woman was assaulted outside a house in Clematis Close at 5.50pm yesterday.

She died at the scene at 6.40pm, and a post mortem examination was expected to be carried out today.

Officers arrested the Grimsby man, who is currently being questioned.
