MULTI-MILLION selling star James Morrison will be heading to Rasen Rocks this year with Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox.

The rocker is bound to be a sell-out at the Market Rasen Racecourse on Saturday, September 1.

Before then, the new-look Ladies' Party Night on Saturday, August 18 will be entertained by BBC Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox – who will perform an outside disco set after the evening's horse races.

It's been a great start to the New Year for James Morrison – his third album The Awakening went platinum and he's nominated for Best British Male at The Brits 2012, an accolade he won for the first time in 2007 when he was just 21.

Pip Kirkby, the racecourse's managing director, said: "James Morrison and Sara Cox are two fantastic performers for Rasen Rocks 2012.

"Tickets have just gone on sale and we're expecting each night to be very popular."

Ladies' Party Night, which will have a new feel to it this year with the disco set by Sara

Cox, and the annual Miss Market Rasen contest.

Cox said: "I love horse racing and taking part in a charity race at Goodwood was fantastic.

"I'm really looking forward to the atmosphere at Market Rasen Racecourse on Ladies' Party Night in August."
