A NEW brochure to promote Cleethorpes has been launched nationwide.
The Tourist Information Centre put the leaflet together to continue boosting tourism to the resort.

It is a ray of hope for businesses that feared there would be a tourism slump due to rail disruption caused by the Hatfield rail landslide and a poor weather forecast.
Tourism Information Centre manager Sue Marshall said: "We felt it important to have a brochure for the resort. Businesses were asking for it and already it is having an affect. Businesses are fully booked this weekend and next weekend for Easter.

"Promoting tourism in this area is key."
This year there will be 150 events across the resort to celebrate 150 years since the railway came to Cleethorpes.
And to ensure the resort gets the visitors, North East Lincolnshire Council has secured ten express busses a day from Cleethorpes railway station to Doncaster.
Portfolio holder for leisure and tourism Councillor Mick Burnett is confident – despite the obstacles ahead – this season will be busy.
He said: "We are worried about the impact of the landslide, which is why we are working with National Rail to make sure people can reach this fantastic resort.
"We know this, along with the brochure, will bring more people into the resort."

“What events? It must be a very short brochure as compared to a few years ago when alsorts of events used to happen here there is nothing going on now. People won't come because of the land slide that won't come because here is nothing to do in this shabby resort”

“Wouldn't it be loverly if Cleethorpes still had the floral displays , visitors will miss walking along the promenade admiring the flowers . Simarily users of Grimsby Swimming Pool will miss having a diving provision at the proposed new pool at the Grimsby Leisure Centre site on the outskirts of Grimsby .”
