Netball: Smart shooting settles an exciting top-flight tussle
PRO-Smart claimed revenge after serving up another thrilling netball tie against Pro-Active Jets.
After losing 14-13 the last time the teams clashed on court, Pro-Smart took the spoils by a one-goal margin this time around in Division One of the Grimsby & District Senior Netball Winter League, winning 16-15.
Both teams boasted excellent defensive qualities, which made for another close clash between the two sides.
Pro-Smart's goal defence, Charlotte Thrower, and goalkeeper, Holly Thompson, were quick to rebounds and marked tightly.

Jets duo Hannah Baker (GD) and Shelley Birchall (GK) were also tough to break down.
Both teams' shooters found goals hard to come by, but good umpiring from MRS Protherm's Nicki Williams and Bring Cargo's Julie Smith allowed the game to flow.
The result was always in the balance, but Pro-Smart edged in front when it mattered to clinch victory.
DFDS Seaways also netted a 16-15 victory – against ABP in Division Three.
ABP have been a solid outfit this season, showing good consistency.
Goal shooter Claire Forster offered ABP creative movement in the circle, which enabled her to position herself to shoot some lovely balls and put pressure on DFDS.
But an inspirational performance from centre Gemma Gordon helped DFDS battle back and they took the victory by one goal.
