“I saw part of this race, I saw runners causing traffic to back up, swerve, Marshalls jumping in front of cars at junctions, photographers standing in the middle of junctions, traffic being stopped. Surely this race shouldn't take part on the busy roads? Also I know it's called a road race but why not use the much safer paths? Who has right of way at junctions? The motorist or the marshal who takes the law upon himself to stop traffic as he feels fit? If this was properly organized either the road would be shut for a period, they wouldn't allow it or they would run on the pavement. I'm all for keeping fit and for the race but it seems as tho no-one is taking the common sense approach to safety and legality. I'm surprised no one got hurt.”

“Great event today, the third time I've run it.
Was there any professional photographers there? As these pics look like they were done with a disposable camera...”

“It was such a shame that they couldn't have shut Chichester Road off for just a while while the runners got on their way properly. Well done to all who took part.”
