New events set to tee off
A BRAND new-style Telegraph Winter Golf Challenge is to be introduced this year.
An invitation event, it will be staged at Forest Pines and open to all 430 players who originally entered this year's competition.
The Winter Challenge will be a one-day only competition, played on a better-ball Stableford pairs format.
There will be one staged before Christmas and at least one more early in 2013.

The first will be on Thursday, November 29. Details for entry will be emailed to all pairings who have played in this summer's Telegraph event.
