A NIGHTCLUB will open in Cleethorpes in a fortnight.

After Dark, in Sea Road, will reopen as the Litehouse, following a major refurbishment.

The club, which closed last year, will open on Saturday, March 23, after being taken on by popular Bootlegger’s operators Leisure Ninety Nine Ltd.

They are “well into the refurbishment plans” and hope the new look signals a new dawn for the club.

The Wakefield-based firm operates seven bars in the region and, after finding success at The Bootlegger in 2011, hope to give Litehouse the same treatment.

At the time of going to press, managing director of the company Gavin Richards was not available, but in an earlier interview with the Grimsby Telegraph, he said: “We operate in a very different way to the old owners. We have a different style, but all the foundations are there.”
