​THE North Thoresby WI  meeting was held  in the Village Hall and president Audrey Foster thanked Linda Dickinson, Ann Loftus, Val Savage and Beverley Worrall for acting as hostesses.

The Roll Call was taken by Val Savage. Speaker, Zoe Tant  an Independent Stampin Up demonstrator used a variety of rubber stamps to produce beautiful cards and card pockets for holding small gifts

The vote of thanks was given by Janet Draycott. The  raffle was won by Jean Smith.  Beverley Worrall donated  plants used to decorate the tables and these were won by Chris Brabben, Annette Brewell, Sharman Haigh, Peggy Rennison, Jean Smith and Sue West. Competition winners was  Ann Loftus with Carol Wilson second.

The next meeting will be April 6, when  speaker  Sue Soper on Make-up in the days of Black and White Television.
