Peacocks stores in Cleethorpes and Louth will remain open, saving 25 jobs, after a deal was struck today with the Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

A total of 388 store were saved as a result of the deal to buy the ailing fashion chain out of administration.

A total of 244 stores were closed with immediate effect, resulting in 3,100 redundancies.
