Pedestrian hurt in Humberston Road accident may be home today

A MAN who sustained a serious head injury when hit by a car on Friday could be out of hospital today, it is believed.

As reported, Humberside Police attended Humberston Road after a pedestrian was hit by a black Citroen near the junction of Belvoir Road on Friday, November 9, at about 6.50pm.

The male pedestrian sustained a head injury, that was believed to be serious and was taken to Grimsby's Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital that night. However, officers visited the hospital on Sunday and were told by doctors that it is likely he will be released today.

Duty Inspector John Frow said: "He was kept in for observation for a couple of days but thankfully, it is not as bad as first thought.
