Pier's getting a Kash injection
THE owner of the Pier nightclub in Cleethorpes is hoping to get the venue "buzzing" once again.
Kash Pungi says he will be focusing all his efforts on the venue, after admitting it has lacked " TLC" for more than a year.

Mr Pungi is currently in the process of offloading his other venues, after claiming he had become "stretched" by his business interests.
As reported, Mr Pungi closed Healing Manor on New Year's Day after his ambitious plans to transform the building into a luxury hotel, bar and restaurant never came to fruition.
He is currently in talks with a local businessman to rent out the property on a long term lease.
He is also close to finalising deals to lease out Coyote Bar, formerly Legends and Park Lane, and to sell the lease for Bootlegger.

“Our beloved Pier in the hands of this businessman I could weep.Forget the Disco scene young man and sell the Pier to someone who is interested in renovating this jewel in Cleethorpes crown.The Pier should be a place where variety exists to entertain visitors and locals alike.I remember the shows of the 70's they played to packed audiences.As vice chairman of the Piers Society I say we act now to save this once proud symbol of Cleethorpes.”

“The pier needs more than renovation. It needs a whole new plumbing system, and the building is so dated it could do with some windows - why it is listed to stay in its current state is beyond me. Changing the carpets again and adddin some new mirrors for the teenieboppers to smash will not save the pier. TLC = new plumbing system and new toilets and then maybe the toilets wont be full of sewage litterally all over th floor and then mayb 21+ will choose to go. Especially if it was given a proper makeover with windows added - dark and dingy nightclubs are a thing of the past. Kash go and look at some successful nightclubs and take heed!!!!”
